Primary School Annual Day Celebrations 2018-19
Theme – Inspiration
NIE REPORT
Annual day forms an integral part of our school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, thanks giving and getting inspired for the next new year. Inspiration is a stimulating feeling that we seek to motivate ourselves and continue to move on despite of all the hardships.
The program officially began with the Lighting of the Lamp by the Chief Guest Ms. Sunitha Pola, Mr. Siddharth Rao and the principal Mrs. Sunitha Prasad.
The events put up by the students were inspirational from legendary stories like
The Enlightened Masters – classical dance
Inspiring Milestones – Tableau on great leaders
Buddies for ever – inspiring friendship
Buzzing busy bees… taking inspiration from the industries bees
The chief guest of the day Ms. Sunitha Pola an alumni of the school and an avid fitness freak, a marathon runner and a tech lead at Infosys said that she was a proud little scholarian and was happy to be the Chief guest and in her message to the parents Ms. Pola said that every child has a good quality in them and as parents we need to explore and find out the quality to help the children become a better person.
The guest of honour Mr. Siddharth Rao Director Shantiniketan Group of schools, also an alumni of the School said that he was happy to join the celebrations and he was thankful to the school for giving him the skill set he possess now. In his message Mr. Rao said the he grew up knowing about only two professions Doctor or Engineer, How monotony kills a child’s creativity and why we need to promote a child’s talent. Mr. Rao congratulated the principal on the School getting the 8th position in the Times of India Rankings.

Both the chief guests with a big smile on their face really enjoyed giving away the awards and the prizes which the students have won during the academic year.
The parents were keenly involved in the performances by the students. The ceremony came to an end with rhythmic enchantment – a cultural extravaganza followed by the National Anthem.

Annual Day NIE Report 2018-12-22 (Middle & High School )

The next time life presents you with a challenge, take a deep breadth and smile goes the saying with the students at Little Scholar School, who put up an array of scintillating performances on the Annual day function at the school premises on 22nd December 2018.The celebrations officially started by lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Prof. Ravindra Vinayek, former Dean,faculty of commerce and the Guests of Honour Prof. Balwinder Singh and Prof. Narendra Kumar, Prof.P. Purushotam Rao, Secretary & Corr. Of the school, and Mrs. S.G.Sunitha, Principal of the School.
The children have showcased their talent through various art forms like myme, dance, play, tableau and songs. The theme for the event being INSPIRATION had really elevated their performances to a whole new, and potentially even more useful levels.
Some of the items presented were,
Teaching Transformers – about teachers inspiring students to perform amazing things
I care … mom and pa – how children get inspired by their parents
Dare to dream @tech – ability to think beyond reality
Gentle stroke – mother Theresa an inspiration for love, kindness and compassion.
Heroes of Freedom : stories of inspiring soldiers
The inspiration that made Helen Keller the leading light for the blind, ekalavya the enigmatic student, the compassionate Mother Teresa and the martyrdom of the soldier all reveal the ingenuity of the person raising to the occasion and making a world of difference to humanity.
The chief guest Prof. Ravindra Vinayek addressing the audience considered himself part of the LSS family. He opined that these were tough times because of high competition. He reiterated what the Principal and Prof. Purushotham Rao have said that parents should listen to their children and build an emotional connect with them. He also said that as the future of the students studying in the school is secure as the school is providing a holistic development.
The Guest of Honour Prof. Balwinder Singh speaking on the occasion said that parents should spend time with the children and not let children become machines. Children should not lose human values and parents should take care to inculcate these into the children.
The Guest of honour Prof. Narendra Kumar pointed out that only two of the slides on the annual report were academic and the remaining being co-scolastic, the school is on the right track. Reminding us of an anecdote Prof.Kumar said that external appearance doesn’t matter but inner qualities matter.
On course we had the awards ceremony honouring the students who have excelled at the AISSE examination, School academics and extracurricular activities. The smt. Jupally Balamma Memorial Gold Medal, instituted in memory of the beloved mother of our chairman is awarded to Master Alankrit Ajit who passed out with a percentage of 98 % at the board examinations.
The CGPA achievers, subject toppers, cent percent attendance holders were also appreciated and blessed. The staff members were also felicitated for their dedicated services to the organisation.
All the Guests have whole heartedly congratulated The School Team for achieving the 8th rank in the Times School Ranking Survey 2018.
The program concludes with the National Anthem and an inspiration to dream and achieve…….
