ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Little Scholar School, established in 1991, is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary
Education, Delhi. It is a secondary (Nursery to X Standard), co-education school with
English as the medium of instruction. Children are usually admitted in Pre-Primary
classes and also in other classes, if vacancies exist. School is awaiting upgradation to
class XI-XII from the upcoming Academic sessions.
Qualified and Experienced staff with dedication and commitment cater to the academic
needs of the children. They incorporate the latest trends in teaching methods perfectly
suited for the age-groups they handle, in complaince with National Education policy
(NEP) – 2020. School conducts regular Professional Development Programmes, under Professional Development Programmes
the guidance of CBSE, capacity building programs unit.
Fully equipped Library, Audio-Visual room, Science, Maths & Computer labs, facilities
for Indoor and Outdoor games and special play-pen and teaching aids for pre-primary
children help in enriching the learning experience and enhancing the knowledge of the
children.
Periodic field trips, picnics and visits to exhibitions etc., are conducted for widening the
mental horizon of the children, help the facilitators to integrate subjects and also in the
process of assessment. Revised curriculum with well defined learning outcomes is
implemented to equip students apply the concepts in any higher competitive exams as
NEET/JEE.. so on.
Students of Classes I to X, are put into four different houses. To instill a sense of belonging
and build healthy competitive spirit. They are encouraged to participate in various Cultural,
Literary and Sports activities conducted by the school and also interschool, district level
and CBSE organised competitions. Participation of students in External Examinations
conducted by well reputed organisations, as Lead India, Bharat Vikas Parishad, NTSE ,
Eduranet, SAFAL conducted by CBSE, etc is also encouraged to a reasonable extent.
School offers English as first language; Hindi, Telugu, as Second & Third language with
a choice of learning Second language from UKG to Class X, and Third language from V to
VIII classes. Subject to changes as per NEP-2020. Apart from compulsory subjects as
Maths, Science & Social Science, school offers Artificial Intelligence as 6th additional
subject under, Skill based scheme of studies, from Class I to X.
As the students are equipped to face the competitive world, related additional content is
