As a school we believe that academic excellence is a specific requirement for the bright future of our students. However, we aim at all round development of our children. We also insist that they should have sound knowledge of values and skills which will guide them in life. We want our students to be self sufficient, self reliant and self motivated.

The education they receive from their alma mater and the knowledge they acquire from other sources will have to be assimilated and applied properly in day-to-day situations. We feel that people with a scientific outlook and value-based approach are likely to do better in dealing with this task. We, therefore, focus our efforts towards this end.

We are also aware of the growing concern for stress free and tension free environment to be created in schools. Other trends such as reduction of homework, ‘No bags’ or ‘Light bags’ for children, non-detention system etc., also get our attention in planning the academic year. We make constant efforts to replace fear with freedom and accountability, punishment with persuasion, indifference with enthusiasm and unhealthy competition with interest.
